This is the license that covers scenes downloaded from the Edgemoss market, written by the operator rather than by a lawyer. It is part of the terms of service, and the refund policy covers what happens if a purchase goes wrong. If anything here matters to how you plan to use a scene, ask us first: hello@edgemoss.com.
Scenes listed on the market are free to download and use, royalty free, in personal and commercial projects: games, visualizations, films, product pages, client work. The license covers every artifact the scene ships with, including the .splat and .ply files, .spz and .glb exports, meshes, and flythrough videos.
Attribution is appreciated, not required.
Paid listings. Some scenes carry a price. Purchasing one unlocks its export pack (the .ply, .glb and .sog files, meshes, and the flythrough video) and grants the commercial-use terms of this license for that scene. In-browser viewing of published scenes stays free for everyone, before and after purchase.
The scene's creator keeps their rights and grants you this license by listing the scene on the market. Edgemoss hosts the files and is not a party to disputes between creators and downloaders. If you believe a listing infringes your rights, write to hello@edgemoss.com and we will review it.
Scenes marked as including AI-generated content were made with third-party models: Stable Diffusion XL and related models under the CreativeML Open RAIL++-M license, and Meta's DINOv3 under its license and acceptable use policy. Those licenses require their use restrictions to pass through to you.
In short, you agree not to use these scenes to break the law, to harm or exploit minors, to spread verifiably false information intended to harm others, to generate or share personal information intended to harm someone, to impersonate real people without consent, to give medical advice meant to be relied on, or for military, warfare, or weapons purposes. The full lists live in the model licenses; where this summary and those licenses differ, the licenses control.
Listing is optional, and you can unlist a scene at any time from its page. Unlisting stops new downloads, but it cannot recall copies people already downloaded under this license.
What we take on a sale. Listing a scene for free costs you nothing. On a paid listing, the buyer pays your own Stripe account directly, so you are the merchant on that sale. Edgemoss takes a 15% platform fee, or $0.60 if that is more, and the rest is yours. Stripe's processing fee comes out of your side of the sale, because the payment is made on your account under your own agreement with Stripe. Prices are set in US dollars, from $15 to $500.
Refunds and disputes. Because you are the merchant, refunds on your sales are yours to issue, from your Stripe dashboard. A full refund ends that buyer's access to the export pack; a partial refund leaves their access in place. Refunding does not return our platform fee to you on its own, so email us and we will return it. If a buyer disputes a charge with their bank, nothing changes while the dispute is open. If the dispute is decided against the sale, their access ends and the amount, plus Stripe's dispute fee, comes out of your Stripe balance.
