What you upload is video of a real place, which is a more personal thing than a file. This page says what happens to it, how long we keep it, and what you can change.
Reconstruction runs on GPU servers we operate on Amazon Web Services, on encrypted storage, in the same account that serves this site. Your footage is transmitted over encrypted connections and the server is stopped when the job finishes. Some earlier jobs ran on GPU servers rented from third-party marketplaces; new jobs no longer do.
Cloud hardware is still hardware we do not physically control. Do not upload content whose exposure would seriously harm you — sensitive documents visible in a scene, security-relevant interior layouts, confidential prototypes — unless you accept that risk. We ask first, and the box starts unchecked. The upload form on the Convert page carries one checkbox that lets us use that upload to improve the reconstruction models behind the service. Leave it alone and we do not. Your answer is recorded against the job before it is processed, and a scene derived from yours by retraining, refining or saving an edit carries the answer its source had.
Running your job is separate, and consent does not gate it. We still look at your content and at renderings of your scenes to deliver a result and to fix a failure you report, because there is no other way to do those two things.
We do not sell your content, and we do not use it for advertising.
You have not converted anything yet, so we are holding no footage of yours.
No. The finished scene is yours — it stays until you delete it, and it keeps working in the viewer, in an embed and on the market. Only the source video and the frames pulled out of it are removed.
Re-running the reconstruction. “Re-run with 2x training iterations” needs the original footage, so once it is gone that button will tell you so rather than charging you. Download anything you might want to rebuild from before the date on this page, and keep your own copy of the video.
Yes — deleting the scene from Your scenes removes its footage with it, immediately. There is no way to keep a scene and drop only its footage ahead of the date; email hello@edgemoss.com if you need that.
Your account, your credit ledger, what you were charged and the scenes themselves are on the account page, which is also where you download a copy of all of it or close the account. The privacy notice says what is kept after a deletion and why.
